What’s going on in Trinity Central this September?

Summer’s on it’s way out and fall is arriving. So what can we expect from Trinity Central this month? Take a look –

Guest Speaker – Dave Rigby

Sunday 6 September we have a guest speaker bringing the message in our Sunday morning service. Dave Rigby is from St Albans, UK, where he leads Kings Community Church, Hatfield. Dave has been in church leadership for over 25 years. We look forward to hearing what he has to bring to us, as he continues our Called Higher series working through 1 Corinthians.

Week of Prayer

Prayer is central to everything we do at Trinity Central. So, three times a year we take time out to focus on prayer, with prayer meetings scheduled throughout the week. Our next Week of Prayer will be at the start of the new September semester. There are four evenings, with different groups of people called to gather together in prayer and worship, to seek God for the coming months.

• Sept 8 – Leaders’ prayer
• Sept 9 – Men’s prayer
• Sept 10 – Ladies’ prayer
• Sept 11 – Everyone together!

The prayer meetings will start at 7.30pm and will be at different venues around Vancouver.

LifeGroups return

After a fantastically hot summer break, LifeGroups are ready to re-start! The new semester starts the week starting 15 September, and runs till December.
If you’re not yet settled in a LifeGroup, we encourage you to take the first three weeks to try out one or two and find the one that fits you.
We have groups meeting around the city on different nights, so there is plenty of flexibility to meet your needs.
Tuesday nights:

• Gracie & Sam’s group in Shaugnessy
• James & Liezl’s group in Mount Pleasant

Wednesday nights:

• Mark & Sarah’s group in Olympic Village
• Andy & Sue’s group in Mount Pleasant
• Milly & Steve’s group in Fairview

Thursday nights:

• Roger & Dorcas’ group in Kits

Saturdays

• Dave & Charlie’s group in Burnaby

 

Change of Venue – Sept 27 & Oct 4

Trinity Central is temporarily on the move! The final Sunday in September, and the first in October, we will not be meeting in Vancity Theatre, as they will be hosting the Vancouver International Film Festival.
So for those two weeks, we will be meeting in the HR MacMillan Space Centre, in Vanier Park. The address is 1100 Chestnut St, Vancouver, BC V6J 3J9, and there is plenty of parking.
Just don’t forget and go to the Vancity Theatre, or you’ll be a little bit confused!

Welcome to Trinity evening – 26 September

If you’re new to Trinity Central, we’d love to have you join us a beach party on 26 September. It’s a great way to meet us and for us to get to know you better.
(And if you’re not so new, but you’d like to get to know a few new faces too – then do come join us too! )
