Baptisms

This Sunday we have the excitement of a baptism service, where we may be baptising as many as five believers!
We’ll gather together as usual at 10.30am for worship and the Word. After the meeting, we hope you’ll stick around for coffee and a chat, get to know a few new people. Then we’ll head over to the beach, meeting at the Whale Bones at around 2pm. The baptisms will take place around 2.30pm.
Baptism of believers is such a wonderful thing to celebrate! So we’d love to encourage everyone to not just be there, but to make a celebration of the afternoon! Bring a picnic  – or pick up some food at the food trucks – and enjoy the Vancouver sun at the beach.
 
PS – there’s a race on in the area in the morning, which may effect traffic. We’re expecting it to be over and traffic cleared by the time we get there, but it may be wise to take it into consideration when planning your travel!
