Christmas is a wonderful time of year! I love sitting by a warm fire, a glass of mulled wine in hand, and the family around about. It’s a time for singing and music, a time for gifts, a time for celebration. Most of all, it’s a time for remembering. Remembering that the Son of God made the most incredible journey across the universe and into humanity, coming as a vulnerable baby in order to die that we might live eternally. And that reason to celebrate eclipses all others!
We’ll be celebrating Christmas together as a church family with a carol service, singing great songs that speak of timeless truths. A carol service is such a great event to invite a friend to – including a friend who doesn’t know Jesus. I know many people who don’t know Jesus who love to sing Christmas Carols at Christmas time.
So come and join with us as we celebrate the greatest gift ever, singing and telling the story of God’s love for fallen humanity!
