On the weekend of the 27-29 July we’re going camping! Newfrontiers USA is holding a churches together weekend away in Portland in July, and have invited us to join them. It’s such a great opportunity for us as a church to spend some time together, enjoying one another’s company and building relationships. It’s also an opportunity to be with other churches carrying the same values and building with the same vision, having time worshipping together and being taught by some excellent leaders.

The weekend costs US$55 per person, and includes food for the weekend (and I hear that the catering is really good!). For accommodation: most people will camp in the grounds, and we’ll have an area where we camp together, or, if you’re not the camping type, you can ask to be hosted with a family in the church for free, or stay in a local hotel (which will cost extra). There will be fun activities for the children, so it’s for the whole family.
Just think: a weekend in the sun, worship, teaching, and you don’t have to cook for yourself!
I’d be really grateful if you could email me and let me know if you can join us for the weekend. We’ll most likely move our church meeting that weekend to Portland, so there won’t be a meeting that Sunday in Vancouver. Please don’t let cost or travel put you off, I’m sure we can find a way around those kinds of issues together!
