On Sunday 17 November we’ll be holding our annual Gift Day, a day we’re particularly excited about! Our Gift Day celebration is an opportunity for us as a community to express our joy in God’s generosity to us by giving over and beyond our normal giving.
We’d love to encourage you to be asking God for a sense of faith for giving that day.
Paul writes that we should never give out of compulsion, but out of a willing heart. He sets before the Corinthians the example of the Macedonians who, though they were poor, begged to be able to participate in joy of giving.
Last year our gift day was quite breath-taking – and adventure in seeing God’s faithfulness to us as a church family. We’re full of faith that God wants to equip us again this year for the mission ahead, for starting Alpha again in January, and for the needs of a growing church family.
