If you have been at Trinity Central recently, you may have noticed some bright new envelopes on the arm of your seats.
These are part of some exciting developments as we continue to transition from church plant to church.
Up till now we have been supported by Christ Central Church in Fredericton, enabling us to function in Vancouver while establishing a growing church family here. Their fantastic support over these past four years has included carrying out our governance, administration and finances. We are so grateful for the wonderful support Christ Central has given us.
However, we’re pleased to say that Trinity Central is now a registered charity in our own right – our charity number is 815211685RR0001. This allows us to move the administration of our finances into Trinity Central. For those who are giving it means you can give directly to Trinity Central from now onwards and we will no longer give via Christ Central Church Fredericton.
This means on a Sunday morning, if you want to give –
1) If you are paying by cheque, please make it out to “Trinity Central Church
2) Please put your gift for Trinity Central into on of the courful new giving envelopes (using these means we can issue you a tax receipt for your giving at the end of the year)
At the end of this tax year the who have given to Trinity Central will receive two tax receipts – one from Christ Central Fredericton for any money given through CCCF, and one from Trinity Central for money given directly to us. In future years you will receive one giving receipt from Trinity Central.
Giving – of our resources, money, time and energy – is something that we do as part of our worship to God.
