We are very happy to welcome our good friends Fred and Vickie Erb to be with us for several days in mid-July. Fred leads Listowel Community Church (LCC) in Listowel, Ontario and also serves on the leadership team of “Common Ground”, a network of churches in Ontario working with Jeremy Simpkins and the ChristCentral apostolic team. Common Ground intends to launch School of Leadership in Fall 2017, so the Erbs are here to experience School of Leadership in person. Fred will also be preaching during the July 16 morning service at Yaletown.
Fred grew up intending to be a dairy farmer but God changed his path. After completing Bible College in 1982 he led a church in Wiarton, Ontario until 1995 when he started leading LCC.
Vickie works as an optometric assistant and is one of the worship leaders in Listowel Community Church. Fred and Vickie have two grown children: a daughter and a son. They love being grandparents to their two grandsons.
Fred has a growing desire for mentoring leaders and building healthy relationships among churches and leaders. Fred has been involved with leadership training at home and in Mexico over the past 15 years and has a passion for developing leaders in southern Ontario. Fred is a skilled builder who designed and built his and Vickie’s family homes. To relax he enjoys flower gardening and wood working.
