Planting a church that impacts a city requires faith, and a clear understanding of our call together in Christ. With this in mind I’m delighted to introduce Jeremy and Ann Simpkins to you!
Jeremy leads one of the Newfrontiers apostolic teams, and more specifically, the team which we relate to! They have been instrumental in helping Sara and I and our family move to Vancouver, and have been an immense support to us in the planting of Trinity Central. They live with a passion for seeing churches planted in cities, seeing those churches well foundationed and growing in impact. We have just returned from an outstanding weekend with them in Fredericton, and are very much looking forward to introducing you to them.
In the same way that our church plant team was hugely encouraged by a visit from Gary and Barb Gallant from our Newfrontiers church in Fredericton earlier this year, I’m trusting that this week will fuel our faith and press us forward in God’s purpose for us as a church.
On the evening of Saturday 7 July we’ll have a potluck together as a church plant with Jeremy and Ann. We’ll let you know where soon!
Then, on Sunday 8 July Jeremy will be preaching at our normal Sunday meeting at 5pm at the Roundhouse.
On Wednesday 11 July evening we will be having a Guys evening with Jeremy, and a girls evening with Ann.
We’ll be cancelling small groups that week, so I’d love to encourage you to join us for as much of the time as you possibly can!
Come with faith and expectation, it’s going to be a big week for us!
