Community is really important to us, but not just any community. We want to be a Biblical, Spirit-empowered community that impacts the city of Vancouver with the love of Christ.
On Sundays we’ve been exploring Acts 2, which has been so foundational for us as we seek to understand Biblical foundations for the church we’re planting together – we learn that the early church believers met in the temple and in their homes. Both the large gathering and the small community were important. And so it is with us.
Our small groups are where we’re starting to work this out. As we eat, talk, and pray together we are working towards becoming a genuine Biblical, Spirit-empowered community that loves, encourages and exhorts one another.
We’d really encourage you to come and get involved. So if you’re not yet in a small group, or you’ve got questions about small groups, why not get in touch?
Small groups meet on Tuesday and Wednesday evenings at 7pm at the Scott’s house (166 West 11th Ave) and everyone is welcome. They’re potluck, so bring some food to share.
