We kick off 2016 with a very busy January – check out all we’ve got going on in the month ahead –
Responding to the Needs of Refugees – January 6
It would be hard to have missed the news that thousands of refugees from the crisis in Syria are being welcomed into Canada. As these displaced families arrive they will have many needs, from the practical to the emotional. If you are interested in investigating how we can respond to these needs, there is going to be an open meeting for exploring ideas together. It is at 1224 Lakewood drive, V5L 4M4, from 7.30pm.
Winter Party – January 9
An evening of laughter, dancing, friendship and fun! An opportunity for us to say a huge ‘Thank you!’ to everyone who serves and supports at Trinity Central through the year. We’ll have live music, party games, various desserts and drink.

Week of Prayer – January 12-15
At Trinity Central we love prayer – it is the foundation of everything we do, always bringing ourselves before God. So it makes sense that we start off the new term and new year by giving a week over to meeting together in prayer.
The week will follow our usual format of prayer meetings for different groups meeting each night –
- Tuesday 12 January – Leaders’ prayer meeting
- Wednesday 13 January – Men’s prayer meeting
- Thursday 14 January – Women’s prayer meeting
- Friday 15 January – Everyone’s Welcome prayer meeting. Held at the Roundhouse, Yaletown.
Prayer meetings will start from 7pm. Venues will be confirmed in advance.
LifeGroups – From January 18
Following the Week of Prayer the new LifeGroup term will begin. We have seven LifeGroups meeting around Vancouver & Burnaby, on Tuesday, Wednesday or Friday nights. If you have not yet connected into a LifeGroup this is the perfect time to try one out! The first three weeks of term is a time to try out a group and see if it’s the right one for you.

Gary and Barb Gallant from Christ Central, Fredericton will be spending six weeks with us at the start of the year, and another six weeks later on in 2016 too. We’re so excited to have them with us. Keep a look out for further details of events that will take place while they are here.
Trinity Turns Four & Vision Sunday – January 31
An anniversary is always a time of celebration, or reflection of all God has done so far and a time to look ahead to what will come next. We’ll take time on Sunday 31 not only to celebrate Trinity’s 4th birthday, but to look again at our vision for Trinity Central in Vancouver.
