What’s going on in Trinity Central this July?
Here’s a little taster of the busy month we have ahead of us –
BBQ – 12 July
We had such a great time in Emery Barnes Park in June, so we’re heading back there on July 12. Once again there will be a free BBQ, face painting, henna tattoos, and games on the park.
We met numbers of people in the park last time as they were invited to come over and join us – looking forward to connecting with more people!
(PS – if you’re able to help with the BBQ in anyway, please get in touch with Sam Coggan)
Ditch the pool cues – head for the beach
Monday nights are pool night – but not over the summer. It’s a bit too splendid in the evenings to spend it in a dark and stuffy pool hall, so on Monday nights you’ll find a bunch of people on Kits beach.
To find where they are you can either a) just turn up and look or b) connect with the Monday Nights Facebook page.
Another reason to head out to Kits beach is to hang out with The Vancity Swimclub! Several days in the week you’ll find us there, whether for a swim or a relax pool-side. Join the Vancity Swimclub Facebook page to know when we’re there.
Soccer
For those of you with energy to burn, Trinity Soccer is back up and running after a short break. Monday nights at Eric Hamber school from 9pm-10pm. Get in touch with Sam Coggan for details, or join the Trinity Soccer Facebook page.
Prayer Meeting – July 19
We don’t do anything at Trinity Central without praying for it first. Prayer is vital! Our monthly prayer meetings are always fantastic evenings of pressing in to God. If you’ve not been to one before, you’re missing out! Join us at the Roundhouse, 7pm on July 19.
Welcome to Trinity beach party – July 31
If you’re new to Trinity Central, we’d love to have you join us a beach party on July 31. It’s a great way to meet us and for us to get to know you better. (And if you’re not so new, but you’d like to get to know a few new faces too – then do come join us! )
We’ll have details of which beach and what time we’re pitching up in a few weeks, but put the date in calendars now!
