What's on in October?

Join us at the Roundhouse October 8 & 15

We’re meeting at the Roundhouse Community Centre in Yaletown on the morning of October 8 and 15 – we’ll meet in the Performance Centre. We’ll be having coffee BEFORE the service, from 10:15 a.m.
After coffee we’ll kick off the service at about 10:45am with the band leading us in worship and then the preach.
In the evening we will meet as usual at Hillel House on UBC campus at 6:30pm.

We can still invite people to Alpha

Burnaby Alpha is launching Wednesday, October 11th.

7-9pm at 8073 Burnfield Cres. (the Duggans’ home)
- NOTE: subsequent weeks this Alpha will meet Tuesdays from 7-9 pm

We had terrific launch evenings this for our other three Alphas with many guests coming. None of the Alpha Courses have yet started (the launch evening is not part of the course) so it’s still a great time to invite someone to one of our Alphas:

ESL Alpha – 7:00-9:00pm at #301 – 3551 Foster Avenue, Vancouver (Ning’s home)
Wade lifegroup – 7:30-9:30 pm at 46 West 11th Avenue (the Wades’ home)
Aston lifegroup – 7:30-9:30 pm at 3837 Angus Drive (the Astons’ home)

Come pray with us at the Roundhouse Oct. 10

At Trinity Central we love to pray together – it’s one of the things that we really get excited about. When we pray together Jesus says that we can “move mountains” by faith. There are many “mountains” in our lives and in this city that need moving, so please come join us!

Pray for Gift Day on October 29

Gift Day is an opportunity to express our worship to God through financial generosity. It enables us to do everything that we do – from running Alpha courses and putting on conferences to hiring venues for Sunday meetings and special events to paying our staff. In addition, each year it is our joy to use some of our Gift Day gifts to bless others: we have supported Lee Yarborough’s work leading New Frontiers churches in Mexico and Michael Feulner’s work leading a church in Yalova, Turkey that has a wonderful ministry to refugees there.
Let’s be asking our generous God for resources so that we too can give generously.

New to Trinity? Come have lunch with us Oct. 29

If you’re new (or new-ish) to Trinity Central then you are warmly invited to our Newcomers’ Lunch. This is a great opportunity to get to know people in the church over some delicious food. You don’t need to bring anything except your appetite. If you’re interested in coming please let one of our Welcome team know on Sunday or email office@trinitycentral.org.
