Work, life and responsibility in the church – Wed 7 March

We’re all gathering at the Scotts on Wednesday for an evening with Gary & Barb, who’ll be talking about: “Work, life and responsibility in the church”.
The Christian life is worked out in our work places, our homes and in the church. In a Biblical definition, maturity means that we grow into carrying responsibility in in these different arenas. And that’s essentially what leadership is: it’s taking responsibility.
Gary and Barb have demanding careers in education, busy family life and they carry significant leadership responsibility in the church.
How do we live for God in the workplace? How do we make a difference? How about the priority of family? How do I grow into leadership in church life? How do we balance the demands? These are some of the questions they’ll be addressing tomorrow evening. There’ll be time for some questions, and we’ll make space for some ministry too, so come expectant!
See you at 7pm… and we will make it potluck as usual (that’s a change to the original plan).
Remember, that means we don’t have small groups this week….
